WIW: colour

Today is Day 2 of my 30X30 challenge and I decided to step out of my comfort zone by wearing lots of colour!

The red necklace is really cool - it has little silver elephants on it! I got it from Fab India in New Delhi. :)

Waiting for your comments and suggestions - does this look clownish or can I carry off this colour combination?

Wow - this looks fantastic Kirti! Nicely done!

I like it a lot - that orange really suits you. My only thought, and I may be nuts, is that you could try a darker shoe to bookend your hair and 'anchor' the light pants.

    Thanks ladies :)

Laura: I really like that idea - I think it could really elevate the outfit! Thanks, I'll do that when I wear this to class someday :)

Jayne, it did! I usually wore colour only on top, but I was uncomfortable wearing colour with my coloured pants - now I'm going to change that.

Those shoes just make it for me every time. You look great, the colors are lovely, they look subdued to me and not at all clownish. Great necklace!

This looks nice! I think the nude shoes and brown jacket soften the colors even more and keep the look nowhere near clown territory. : )

I love how fabulous these colors look on you--it makes your complexion glow! And it's my favorite color palette for myself too--autumn spice! Not clownish at all! It's quite muted and sophisticated to my eye!

GP: Thanks! I like the term 'autumn spice' and I really think it works well for me too, rusty oranges and mustard yellows look good on me :)
