WIW: 'new' shorts (Day 11 of 30x30)

I had to wear my new shorts today which is perfect since the prompt for today in the 'This or That trends challenge' (http://www.meganmaedaily.com/2.....rends.html) is 'Printed/Coloured bottoms'. :)

Pls. excuse the water stains on my t shirt, I wish I had seen that before I changed out of my outfit. Sigh!

Strong and simple. Great metallic sandals to spice up those lovely mid-tones. I spy a cute little pendant too!

Personally, I'd let the T-shirt ride a little higher, let it scrunch a bit rather than be pulled too smooth --- looks more insouciant to me --- but that's just a personal preference.

The shorts came out great! Pretty with the purple, and I wouldn't have noticed the water.

Very, very cute on you! Great color combo. On my laptop display I don't see the water stain you are talking about!

I just *love* those shorts! The top is a pretty color on you too...

Kirti, the t-shirt is lovely on you (that shade of blue is GORGEOUS), but I have to admit I'm not wild about the shorts! *sorry* They read a little 'bicycle shorts' to me, when they should be reading 'bermuda' or 'walking' shorts. Your style is a cut above them, IMHO! Maybe they'd look nicer as shorter-shorts? Just my two cents, of course!

    Thank you all! :-)

Manidipa: The t shirt did scrunch over the course of the day, it is only when it is freshly ironed and worn that it looks this smooth!

Helen: I haven't ever worn cycling shorts, so I am not sure what they look like as opposed to regular shorts! I think I will keep these as is for now, but when I shop for shorts I will make sure to try different lengths and styles. Thanks :-)
