Heh heh, I love the Obi Wan belt! You look like you are having a lot of fun now - how can you not have fun in those yellow pants??

Great looks both of them. The dress with the one-of-a-kind obi belt really stands out as a classic yet unique look.
I personally love all of these neon brights. But a lot of people, who aren't as open minded to fashion (and I'm not saying your DH isn't!), don't like them. Last night there was an attractive woman at our restaurant in a neon pink track suit. The other server (a female) wasted no time making disparaging comments about her outfit.

I love the neon bright jeans! And may I also suggest that you try this color in a top because I think it would look great with your skintone:). If it makes you feel any better, my DH wouldn't like these jeans either;)
As for the obi belt-I LOVE this idea, its so creative! I am going to check your friend's site for sure

Your neon jeans are cute! Poor hubs. He will need to wear his sunglasses I guess. I love the obi belt made from men's ties. What a terrific idea! And why do husbands come up with silly names for our fashionable things? I have a Calvin Klein front-zip dress that DH insists on referring to as my "jumpsuit". Now every time I wear it I feel like a mechanic! :/

Claire: I have a leather bracelet with gold harware and DH refers to it as "Wonder Woman's Bracelet";0)

Thanks rae! And yep, summer dressing just got a lot more fun!
I'm so glad you like the drss and belt combo Denise. Neon definitely isn't everyone's cup of tea! My husband takes some time to get used to the trends I adopt, but they grow on him eventually! He was the same about my floral pants, but he is okay with them now :-D
Victoria: Men! They just don't get it sometimes ;-) Thanks for the suggestion of looking out for a neon topper, I love the idea of a blazer in this hue.
Claire: Yep! Especially in the sunlight because they are bright with a capital B! Ha ha ha a jumpsuit?! Husbands say the darndest things :-P

It seems as is you were ready for another surge of creativity in your wardrobe, Kirti! Both of these looks are fresh, but very you. I think the neon will probably grow on DH over time. The world needs plenty of sunny color! I love obi belts, and yours is wonderfully whimsical and clever!

Kirti, you do bright colours like nobody else! (I've been lurking here a while.) My hubby says my straw fedora makes me look like an Amish farmer. I told him even they get it right sometimes. And I kept wearing it...

You look twice as fantastic as you did during the challenge, and that's speaking volumes!
I'm loving the humour of the (sun)glasses with the bright yellow pants! And the dress outfit is genius with the 'tie' belt and the Indian-style flats. One of your best ever!
