La vie en couleur

Today's outfit is a lot less colourful than yesterday, but I made up for it with printed tights and one of my favourite scarves :) See Pic 1!

Thank you all for the comments and feedback that you leave me - it has really changed the way I get dressed, the way I shop and the way I view my outfits. I feel so lucky to be part of the YLF family!

I was wondering, now that I have posted a few WIWs, do you have a word or a phrase that could help me describe my style? I'm putting up a few of my recent outfits (Pic 2 to 11), hoping that you can help me figure this out! Thanks :)

I ordered a fleece polka dot scarf from a shop on Etsy (http://www.etsy.com/shop/shopo.....eller_info) and it arrived today! It is really warm and cosy and I love the cream-y colour with the multicoloured polka dots. :)

What do you guys think?

Here are my V-day outfits. I wore #1 last night, when my husband and I had a romantic dinner at home to celebrate, since he had to go out of town this morning. I wore #2 to class today.

I wanted to wear another outfit with the rust tights today, but it was just too cold. So I decided to go with a comfy outfit featuring a chunky sweater, cord pants and my fleece lined boots.

I did add in a statement necklace though, after a lot of deliberation.

There is a bit of a story to this necklace. I bought it from H&M for €10, it is a J Crew necklace dupe so I was really excited to own it. Then, it turned out to be way too long for someone with my generous boobs, so when I went to India, I got the length altered. After that, I've tried it on with a million outfits, but it always felt a little too big, a little too showy or a little too noisy! I finally wore it today and even though I felt a little uncomfortable at first, I ended up really liking it. :)

What do you think? Is it too much?

I tried the rust tights again today in a slightly dressier outfit. I wore this to a meeting with an estate agent and felt pretty confident :)

This is also Day 9 of my 30X30 challenge and I think I'm doing well so far... let's see how it goes for the rest of the month!

So I finally wore the rust tights today after a million outfit trials! Yay!

Now I'm thinking of wearing these tights two or three days in a row, just to see what other looks I can build around them - a mini challenge to myself. :)

I wore a Valentine's Day inspired outfit today, combining red and pink!

I know a lot of you are wearing neutrals this week, but with my 30X30 challenge, I can't do a lot of 'all neutral' outfits, so I decided I might as well go crazy with colour! I also tied up my hair, just to get it out of my face for a change. I like it!
