WIW: black and white

Another stay at home day, all I did was run to the local bakery for breakfast, so I wore a very cosy outfit. I really loved it and even though I don't wear leggings a lot, I would totally wear this to class :)

Pic 1 shows the outfit, Pic 2 is for a closeup of the accessories, the white leaf earrings are made from shell and the flower pin is new.

Looking forward to your comments and suggestions ladies!

Oh, you look adorable! Minimal but fun.

I know it's cold where you live - but I wonder - how would this look with a scoop neck t underneath instead of the turtleneck? Bear in mind that I have an irrational hatred of turtlenecks though!

CF: Thank you :) I hate turtlenecks too, especially being heavier on top! But I don't mind them for layering as they keep my neck warm! I should add a black scoop neck t shirt to my shopping list, that might look better than this! Thanks :)

Very cute - although I think I agree with CF that a scoop neck would look better. Love the sweater with the leggings and your fun accessories!

I love it just the way it is, but I am also a fan of turtlenecks:) You look very nice.

machanteuse: Thanks for the feedback, I'll keep a lookout for a scoop neck top :)

You are just adorable (hope you don't mind that word) and cozy-looking in this outfit. I think a big scarf could replace the turtleneck too...

alaskagirl: Why would I mind? :D I like the suggestion of a scarf - maybe a colourful one to liven up the look, instead of the flower pin? Thanks :) also, your new shoes are awesome :D

I saw a big colorful knitted one on your blog, maybe it was mustard? That would be a nice pop of color!

  • Kirti replied 12 years ago

Oh yes, I could try that! Thank you! :D

Cute! The flower pin is a nice finishing touch.

A moto jacket would look great over this.

  • Kirti replied 12 years ago

AJ: And I have the perfect one! Thanks for the idea :)
