What do you think of these shoes?

I'm not sure quite what they are - booties? oxford like shoes with buckles? I was attracted by the buckle detail and I think that these would work well well for autumn and winter, with both pants and dresses.

What do you think? Worth getting?

I always find these so hard to answer. Would I buy them? Maybe. If the price was right. Do they fill a hole in your shoe wardrobe or will they replace a pair that's wearing out? Do you love them much more than what you've already got? Does the quality match the price? If you're getting yeses, buy them.

They are kind of cute, if that's what you're asking, and no, I have no idea what to call them... ;o)

They are monk strap shoes , which is typically a menswear style.

I would want to see them in proportion to your body though - I find that with many of these menswear inspired styles, it can sometimes make a woman's foot look really long and disproportionate.

Same here, like Diana said. I like them, in theory, but I'd want to see how they look with specific outfits and how you would style them. I had a similar pair from Timberland a few years ago that were really comfortable, but also quite challenging for me to style.

That said, I think these shoes are cute. I'm attracted to the buckle detail too. They could work really well with some cute, tomboy styles. That's how I would style them...

JR: Good questions! I do have a place in my wardrobe for a pair of black flat shoes, especially for autumn and winter! Hmm...

Diana: Thanks! Now I have a name to call them! These didn't look too long or masculine on me, but I will try to post a full size pic!

Savitha: Thanks! I like the style too, but now I will do some thinking on how I would style them.

Kirti... Sometimes these shoes make your legs look bigger than the body... happened to me...

Try it out with the outfit you plan to wear and check out again....

Thanks ramya, I'll do that! :)

I love them. It would like to see how you plan to wear them Kirti.

You must have smaller feet because you wear oxfords and other menswear inspired shoes so well. I have no doubt that you could rock these, even with skirts/dresses. They would be a fun statement shoe if you like them after you've styled them.

Deborah: Thanks! I'm wondering myself, a blazer and jeans maybe? They would look so good with trousers!

Claire: Aww thank you! I could see them working with tights and a tunic/dress as well. Unfortunately, they cannot be returned so I really have to decide if I want these.
